Dominic Cooper

Dominic Cooper is one of the most exciting acting talents to emerge from the U.K. since his breakout role in Alan Bennett’s critically acclaimed The History Boys, in which he seduced audiences as the confident Dakin on stage (the National Theatre and Broadway) and onscreen. Some of his other notable film credits include The Devil’s Double; Need for Speed with Aaron Paul; Captain America: The First Avenger opposite Chris Evans; My Week with Marilyn with Michelle Williams; An Education with Carey Mulligan; Stephen Frear’s Tamara Drewe; The Duchess with Keira Knightley; Mamma Mia! with Meryl Streep and Colin Firth; and Starter for 10 co-starring James McAvoy and Rebecca Hall. Cooper’s career also boasts a wealth of television roles, including Fleming for Sky and BBC America, in which he played the title role. He is also recognized worldwide for his role as “Howard Stark” in the phenomenally successful Marvel series Agent Carter.
