Malcolm Barrett

Malcolm Barrett is a jack-of-all-trades, lending his talents to film, television, theater and digital. He can currently be seen starring in the hit NBC series Timeless as the courageous time machine pilot “Rufus Carlin”. Malcolm made his mark on the small screen with his scene-stealing role of ‘Lem Hewitt’ on the ABC series Better of Ted. He has since gone on and performed on such shows as FOX’s Kelsey Grammar Presents: The Sketch Show, The Sopranos, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Office, Law & Order, Kroll Show, Southland and more. In film, Malcolm demonstrates his passion for both drama and comedy starring in several features such as Dear White People, Peeples, American Violet, The Hurt Locker, Larry Crowne and many more. Malcolm is a founding member and artistic director of the non-profit theater company Real Theatreworks Inc and has toured in several productions. He can also be seen in the YouTube series Nerd Court created by Gary Whitta, and has released two musical albums.
