Jeremy Childs

Jeremy Childs is an actor, writer and producer, born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He can currently be seen in season 3 of Preacher in the role of Jody, and is both a huge fan of the source material and the TV series. He will next be seen in the comedy The War with Grandpa, where he got to improv a scene with Robert DeNiro, marking off a big bucket list item. Previous screen credits include the DreamWorks’ picture The Last Castle with Robert Redford and Screen Gems’ Country Strong with Gwyneth Paltrow and Tim McGraw. His favorite independent features include Closer to God (2014) and The Dead Center (2018) with Shane Carruth, both of which he co-produced and were directed by Billy Senese. He is also one of three producer/actor/writers on the web series The Nether Region (sci-fi related sketch comedy). You can catch him on Amazon Prime in The Jeff Durham Show and in the dark southern comedy Local Air with Nashville alum David Alford. Jeremy was a recurring guest star on ABC’s Nashville and CMT’s Sun Records and is perhaps best known for the characters of "Repairman" and "the talking bust of Vivaldi" in the online children’s music series Quaver’s Wonderful World of Music. Jeremy is a company member of the distinguished and award winning Studio Tenn Theatre Company in Franklin Tennessee. He has had numerous plays professionally produced and has appeared in well over one hundred equity stage productions. He currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee.
