A native of Long Island, New York, Alanna Masterson is the little sister of four older brothers: Danny, Chris, Will, and Jordan – all of whom have found success in Hollywood. Masterson made her acting breakthrough as a child, portraying the young Colleen Carlton on The Young and the Restless. Her talents have steadily evolved through guest spots on such television series as Malcolm in the Middle, Greek, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Grey’s Anatomy, Men at Work, and the comedy series First Day. Masterson also starred opposite Tyler Blackburn and Mackenzie Phillips in the independent film Peach Plum Pear, for which Masterson received a Best Actress Award at two different film festivals. As a graduate of New York Film Academy, Masterson also has experience behind the camera as a writer and director. For her senior thesis, she directed a short film starring Agyness Deyn, her brother Jordan Masterson, and Jake Hoffman. When not on sets, Masterson lends her time and voice to the Creative Coalition. She also recently worked with BuildOn to raise money and traveled to Nepal to build a school for children who live in poverty.
