For more than two decades, Ryan Hurst has brought unforgettable characters to life for screens big and small. Hurst not only stars as Beta on AMC’s The Walking Dead, but recurs as detective Hector Bonner on Bosch, based on Michael Connelly's best-selling novels. His additional television credits include Opie Winston in Sons of Anarchy; Chick Hogan in Bates Motel; L'il Foster in Outsiders; Michael Benoit in Medium; Edgar Roy in King & Maxwell; ATF Field Agent Jimmy McGloin in Wanted; and Tom Clarke in Steven Spielberg's mini-series Taken. Hurst’s film credits include his breakout performance opposite Denzel Washington in Remember the Titans, for which he also directed the film's second unit footage. Additional high-profile feature film roles include Steven Spielberg's Saving Private Ryan; the Coen Brothers' The Ladykillers, with Tom Hanks; We Were Soldiers, with Mel Gibson; Patch Adams, with Robin Williams; Rules of Engagement, with Samuel L.
