Sarah Fenn, a modern-day witch, uses her powers for good, living in the town of Sanctuary. Though her daughter, Harper hasn't inherited Sarah's powers, when local teenager, Dan dies during a party, Harper is accused of killing him - by magic.

Episode 1

When a teen sports star dies, the community of Sanctuary is shattered. DCI Knight expects a straightforward investigation but the response of Harper, daughter of a local witch, leads her to suspect there's more to his death than meets the eye.

S1, E2

Episode 2

When non-witch daughter Harper is accused of murder, Sarah must use her magic to prove her innocence. Fuelled by local resentments, suspicions transfer to mother and daughter, whilst Abigail tries to blackmail Sarah with an extraordinary demand.

S1, E3

Episode 3

An expert confirms that magic was present at the crime scene. Harper makes a shocking revelation to Sarah who warns that her disclosure, if revealed to the police, will make her a suspect. An accusation from Harper sends Abigail into revenge mode.

S1, E4

Episode 4

Harper's accusations that Daniel raped her put the spotlight of suspicion on her and Sarah, and a vigil in Daniel's memory whips up ill feelings within Sanctuary. Abandoned by The Moot, Sarah fears all is lost, and Harper is set upon at school.

S1, E5

Episode 5

Reeling from the attempt on Harper's life, Sarah decides to cast a spell over all of Sanctuary. Meanwhile, Maggie discovers more about Harper's life away from Sanctuary and the truth emerges about the rape allegations. This pushes Abi to take action.
