AMC Networks just released the dark and thrilling trailer for Season 2 of The Walking Dead: Dead City, teasing conflicted connections and ruthless new villains, all looking to gain control of the concrete jungle. Starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan as fan-favorite characters “Negan” and “Maggie,” the new season will debut Sunday, May 4 at 9pm ET on AMC and AMC+. Watch the trailer below: 

The Walking Dead: Dead City follows Maggie (Cohan) and Negan (Morgan) as they travel into a post-apocalyptic Manhattan, long ago cut off from the mainland. In Season 2, in the growing war for control of New York City, Maggie and Negan find themselves trapped on opposite sides. As their paths intertwine, they come to see that the way out for both is more complicated and harrowing than they ever imagined. 
The series also stars Gaius Charles, Željko Ivanek, Mahina Anne Marie Napoleon, Lisa Emery, Logan Kim, Dascha Polanco and Kim Coates, amongst others. Make sure to catch the Season 2 premiere on Sunday, May 4 at 9pm ET on AMC and AMC+.
