With the early onset of scurvy, fear and depression, the expedition is no longer just wearing on the men physically: it has finally gone to their heads.

When the officers decide the ships must be abandoned, they attempt to take the crew's minds off of the dire journey ahead - and boost morale - with a carnival-themed party. But one member of the crew may be too far gone...
