McMafia Renewed for Season 2

AMC announced today from the Television Critics' Association Press Tour that it has renewed McMafia for a second season.

Inspired by the best-selling book of the same name, the global organized crime thriller echoes real-world headlines as it explores the "franchizing" of the mafia as it spreads across the world. What starts out as a story of survival and revenge becomes an epic tale of a man's struggle against the lures of corruption in the modern world and in himself. The new season will air on AMC, AMC Premiere and streaming service Sundance Now.

Created by Hossein Amini and James Watkins and inspired by Misha Glenny’s book, McMafia stars James Norton, Juliet Rylance, David Strathairn, Faye Marsay, Aleksey Serebryakov and Maria Shukshina.

AMC also announced it has renewed Fear the Walking Dead and Better Call Saul for their fifth seasons.

Season 1 of McMafia is available now for AMC Premiere subscribers, or watch the premiere episode now for free on amc.com and the AMC Apps.
