Jesse Pinkman Is Back in New El Camino Trailer
Yeah, bitch! Breaking Bad fans got their first glimpse of Jesse Pinkman in nearly six years thanks to a new trailer for El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, which dropped during the 71st Primetime Emmys Sunday night.
The trailer depicts a car – the titular El Camino – out in the middle of a field. A radio is tuned to a radio report, which details the carnage of a gun fight in Albuquerque. The report also mentions that a search is ongoing for a man who fled the scene. Inside the car, Jesse listens to the report in pure panic. (Who can blame him?) Check out the trailer now:
Fans will recall that Jesse was last seen speeding toward his freedom after being held prisoner for months and forced to cook meth by a group of white supremacists. Jesse’s escape came after Walter White (Bryan Cranston) shot and killed Jesse’s captors and let his former partner escape before the cops showed up.
Written and directed by Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan and starring Aaron Paul, El Camino will pick up where the series finale of Breaking Bad left off, as Jesse, in the wake of his dramatic escape from captivity, must come to terms with his past in order to forge some kind of future. Watch a recap of Jesse's journey across Breaking Bad to prepare for the new film.
El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie will debut on Netflix on Friday, October 11. The film, which will also be released in theaters, will air AMC at a later date.
