Inside The Walking Dead Episode 5 — How Rick’s “Family” Gives Him the Strength to Save Himself
Rick is knocking on death's door.
His family is the only thing that can provide the strength he needs to fight on.
"He is on the brink of death, but he's so determined to finish out this mission," Showrunner Angela Kang explains in a new behind-the-scenes video.
He's got to find a way to keep going -- and more importantly, find a way to stop the herd from closing in on him and the communities.
"These hallucinations, these dreams, these people from his past -- they are providing him the motivation to wake up and move forward," says Kang.
Now, it's time to do the unthinkable in order to protect them.
