Inside Into the Badlands Episode 11 — How Bajie Is Able to Unlock the Widow's Humanity
The Master works in mysterious ways.
In Episode 11, the Master forces Bajie and the Widow to reconcile their old differences at the monastery. "It's a complicated relationship with Bajie and the Widow," says Nick Frost, who plays Bajie.
After their fight by the waterfall, Bajie recalls an old memory that triggers some of the Widow's fonder feelings from her childhood. "That's what Bajie's practical application in this show is, is to unlock people's humanity," Frost says. "It's nice to see Bajie bring something out of her," he adds.
