With the smell of Spring in the air, we’re starting to see those little green shoots reaching out from the dark earth. You could almost say they’re like zombie limbs reaching out into the sun. OK, maybe that’s a stretch – but not if you’re Shudder fans like us. We see things a certain way, and that’s why we’re already celebrating that special time of year, that midway point to our favorite holiday season: Halloween! In honor of that, we’ve put together a “Halfway to Halloween” collection of Shudder films and series, including some epic exclusives, new fan favorites, and, of course, some cult classics (or, slashics, as we like to say!)

Slasher: Ripper
This fan-favorite series is back for a fifth season, and Slasher: Ripper takes the franchise back in time to the 19th century. There's a killer stalking the mean streets, but instead of targeting the poor and downtrodden like Jack the Ripper, The Widow is meting out justice against the rich and powerful. Fans will see some familiar faces this season, including Eric McCormack of Will & Grace fame, playing a ruthless tycoon named Basil Garvey. Watch Slasher: Ripper now on AMC+.
From Black (Premieres 4/28)
Anna Camp (True Blood) plays a recovering drug addict saddled by crushing guilt after the disappearance of her young son. When she’s presented with a bizarre offer to learn the truth about what happened all those years ago, she wants to set things right… but at what cost? This is a true horror film, and if the first look photos are any indication, we’re going to have a hard time sleeping after this one. Watch the film when it premieres April 28^th.
The Boulet Brothers’ Halfway to Halloween TV Special (Premieres 4/25)
Join iconic horror hosts, The Boulet Brothers, as they celebrate Halfway to Halloween with a variety show filled with terrifying treats and celebrity friends. This special will be a gag-worthy celebration of all things Halloween and horror, so we suggest you don’t miss it! Watch the special when it premieres April 25^th.
The Unheard
In this newly released Shudder Original, we meet 20-year-old Chloe Grayden who’s just undergone an experimental procedure to restore her damaged hearing. The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs Season 5 (Premieres 4/21)
There are lots of reasons fans love Shudder, and one of them is definitely Joe Bob Briggs. The legend himself is back with Darcy the Mail Girl, and they’re ready to dive into their fifth season of hosting frightening, genre-bending double features and keeping the Drive-In spirit alive — one killer film at a time. Get your snacks ready and watch the Season 5 premiere on April 21^st.

We know the story, but we just can’t help watching it again and again! On a cold Halloween night in 1963, Michael Myers brutally murders his sister… and years later he returns to his quiet hometown of Haddonfield, Illinois, looking for his next victims.
