In advance of the Season 10 Premiere of The Walking Dead Executive Producer Dave Alpert announced from the TWD panel at New York Comic-Con the casting of a character that will be exciting news to the ears of fans of The Walking Dead comic. Juanita Sanchez, aka Princess, will be played by Paola Lazaro (Nunca Digas Adeus, Terra Incógnita).

In the comics, Juanita is referred to as the "Princess of Pittsburgh" and meets Michonne and other survivors while they're out on a mission. She later comes back to Alexandria with the survivors and becomes part of the group.

At the New York Comic-Con panel, it was also announced that TWD has been renewed for an 11th Season and that Lauren Cohan (Maggie) will be rejoining the cast.
