AMC announced today it has cast Richard E. Grant (Can You Ever Forgive Me?), Sally Field (Lincoln, Forrest Gump) and Eve Lindley (Mr. Robot) in the original anthology series, Dispatches From Elsewhere.

Created by and starring Jason Segel, the series is scheduled to begin production on 10 episodes this summer in Philadelphia, PA. An AMC Studios production, the hour-long series will include viewer engagement elements across multiple media platforms.

Dispatches From Elsewhere is about a group of ordinary people who stumble onto a puzzle hiding just behind the veil of everyday life. They will come to find that the mystery winds far deeper than they ever imagined.

In addition to starring alongside Grant, Field and Lindley, Segel will executive produce with Scott Rudin, Eli Bush and Garrett Basch.
